Dong-A University is a prestigious private university located in Busan, South Korea. It holds the distinction of being the only private institution in the city to offer both medical and law schools. Established in 1947, Dong-A University started as a four-year college with two schools: Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences, and Law. Over the years, it has expanded to include 9 graduate schools, 11 colleges, and more than 55 majors.
The university is also home to the renowned Dong-A University Museum, which houses over 30,000 artifacts, including national treasures. The museum plays a key role in Korea's archaeological research and cultural preservation.
