Busan University of Foreign Studies was established in 1981 based on the founding philosophy of “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7)” and fosters creativity and leadership qualities based on the Christian spirit and democratic ideology. The purpose is to foster talents who can actively respond to a diverse international society by studying and teaching the theory and practice of foreign languages and foreign cultures, thereby contributing to the development of the nation and human society.
